An Explanation and the Process to achieve “further the study of jazz to those who cannot afford the cost”
The Jazz Sanctuary is in the process of raising funds to fulfill this portion of our mission. The intent was and still is to offer free music lessons to those who cannot afford it at houses of worship. By utilizing the space offered to us by the house of worship and having central places to give lessons we hope to reduce the costs of The Jazz Sanctuary and have a safe and readily available space for the instruction. The Jazz Sanctuary does not supply instruments but will endeavor to either gain the funding or the instruments for the lessons. This offer is not meant to be or is a stipend or scholarship to be spent at the students discretion, but an education offered by The Jazz Sanctuary.
