Saxophonist Andy Mohler is currently a student of Dick Oatts at Temple University. He has performed extensively in in the Berks County area, as well as in some of Philadelphia and New York’s premier jazz and classical venues, including the Kimmel Center’s Verizon Hall and Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola in the Time Warner Center, Manhattan. Since his early teenage years, he has been playing jazz and classical music professionally, sharing the stage with world renowned musicians including Wycliffe Gordon, Phil Woods, Gordon Goodwin, Eric Marienthal, and Larry McKenna. Previously to Temple University, Andy graduated from Kutztown High School. During his time leading up to college, he also had the privilege of having studied saxophone with Lehigh Valley greats Neil Wetzel and Tony Gairo. Alongside being a student, Andy currently performs and teaches woodwinds in the Philadelphia and Berks County areas.
