Past Employment
Throughout the past 40 years I have served as an expert witness for numerous plaintiff and defense firms in Philadelphia and surrounding areas. My work is primarily associated with personal injury (education and vocationally related), conduct of schools and camps, and staff behavior in various venues.
My 50 year career in education encompassed many different roles and opportunities.
I began teaching in 1963 at the Stoddart Fleisher Junior High School in inner-city Philadelphia. I received a summer fellowship to the University of Michigan’s residential Fresh Air Camp.
The following September in 1966, I went to work in Harrisburg, PA as assistant director of a school that served all of the SED children in the district.
Penn State offered me a position in their King of Prussia Graduate Center to start up a teacher and supervisor certification program in special education.
In 1978 I was hired as a Supervisor of Special Education for the School District of Philadelphia (SDP). Throughout the next 17 years I was a teacher, Instructional Advisor and District Administrator of Special Education.
In 2000 I was hired as the Executive Director of an Approved Private School.
I also served on the Board of Directors for Senior Adult Activity Center of Montgomery County.
