Reds, Whites, & Jazz – A Wine Tasting Tour of California Vineyards

The Rotary Club of North Penn invite lovers of great wine, great food, and great jazz music to join club members at the Schwenkfeld Manor Ballroom in Lansdale, PA, on March 24, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. for the Club’s annual wine tasting event, Reds, Whites, & Jazz.

This year, attendees will experience five California wines especially selected by our event sommelier to match the evening’s food offerings, which will include hot and cold hors d’oeuvres, carving station, and desserts. The highly regarded ensemble, The Jazz Sanctuary, will provide great jazz music throughout the evening. Silent auction items will also be available.

Proceeds from the evening’s event will be used to support this year’s designated charities, Laurel House, and The North Penn Valley Boys & Girls Club. Funds will also be used to support the ongoing charitable efforts of the Rotary Club of North Penn. The Rotary Club of North Penn has donated over $250,000 to area charitable organizations in the last 10 years.

Welcome to the Rotary Club of North Penn’s inaugural Reds, Whites and Jazz Fundraiser.  The proceeds from tonight’s event will be used to support the following organizations:

The North Penn Rotary Charitable Foundation – Over the past 10 years, the Rotary Club of North Penn through its charitable foundation has donated to, volunteered for and provided service to various organizations and events in our community.  Contributions from the Rotary Club exceed $250,000 over these 10 years.  The Rotary Club of North Penn has been involved and provided support for numerous organizations.

Laurel House  – a comprehensive domestic violence agency providing supportive and preventative services throughout Montgomery County.  The agency’s first program, a domestic violence shelter for abused women and their children, was founded by the Women’s Center of Montgomery County in 1980. (www.Laurel-House.org).

The North Penn Valley Boys & Girls Club – serves nearly 4,000 children and teens between the ages of 6 and 18 each year.  They promise a safe, welcoming, supportive, and positive environment, which is open to all children and teens.  The Club offers nearly 50 different recreational activities each year, including character-building programs such as Smart Girls and Passport to Manhood. Their key academic program is Project Learn, an afterschool homework assistance program.  (www.npvclub.org)
