[/ezcol_3fifth] [ezcol_2fifth_end]First we start with the concept that all of us are musicians (vocalists and instrumentalists) and that concept is subdivided into various categories such as a quartet. Once that grouping finds its voice it is supplemented with “side men”. Professionals all, they bring to the stage their individual talents enhancing and supplementing the players on the stage.
I like to call these “side men” guests. It is a rare and special breed to be able to gain the stage, and play with a group, instantan-
eously grasping what the group is about and join them in fellowship, harmony and song.
The Jazz Sanctuary is proud to call these “players” guests and invite them back time and time again to augment the groups involved with our programs.[/ezcol_2fifth_end]
