Press & Radio

Talk 900 AJSCirca: 1977

My first “real” radio appearance hosting a talk radio show on Talk 900 am: WDVT “This is Alan Segal, it’s your taxes and your responsibity, so do it right!”

Every Sunday for three years, three hours.  Quite an experience I must say. Thirty some plus years later I’m doing P.R. for The Jazz Sanctuary and still love being on radio.

Peace, Alan

MY EMAIL MESSAGE OF 5 17 19

Good morning,

I wrote the following message to the sponsors of The Jazz Sanctuary.  I want to add my heartfelt thanks to each of you(the musicians of The Jazz Sanctuary) for your support and talent given in so many ways over the last years.  There is no way that I could have taken even the first step without your help, support, guidance, wonderful musicianship and friendship!

The message to the sponsors:

This morning Vinny, a reporter for the Inquirer, called to tell me that a story about The Jazz Sanctuary is on-line and will be in the papers this Sunday.

Although the article talks about my voyage from hospital to today’s successes of The Jazz Sanctuary I did not travel this path alone.  Only with your most gracious help and continuing support was I and my fellow musicians, able to gain the goal of giving music.  Of course our audience, through their presence and donations were equally as responsible for the successes.  This three party success story leaves me with hope that our world can do the same and work together towards common goals rather than the gulf of disparity that seems to cover us all.

Please pass the link below to as many people as possible and alert them to the publishing of the article in this Sunday’s paper.

Thanks to everyone for helping and for your very kind support,

We have been featured in The Unionville Times.
