The Jazz Sanctuary – Live

The Coronavirus and our response:

The coronavirus pandemic is the source of many problems not only here but worldwide. One of these has been the suspension of all of our Jazz & Joe events, the last of which was on March 6th of this year.  Many musicians and groups decided to live stream and ignore the CDC, state and city mandates concerning the Covid19 infection, especially the wearing of masks and separation.  That was a signal we did not want to promote.

Our response to the coronavirus:

Our response was to produce videos in a studio complying with all CDC, state, and city rules, especially the rules concerning the wearing of masks and separation.  In our videos we are separated, each in our own booth where the wearing of masks are not needed. With that in mind the videos were made as close to a live performance as we could.  There was no post-production editing so what you see and hear is exactly what was played in the studio.

The videos presented here will not be posted on any other site.

There is no charge to view the videos although we would be very grateful for any donations.

Please feel free to send the link to this video to your friends.

We miss you, our brilliant audience, and sincerely hope that you are well and stay well.  Click on the image below, sit back, have a cup of coffee or snack and play our Jazz Sanctuary Live video. Visit with us at Morning Star studios as we perform new pieces and old (in different styles) that you have not heard us play before.

Hopefully we will see you soon, but until then rest assured that we will produce additional videos.
